“Spring Dreamin’” is the theme of the 2025 Northwest Flower & Garden Festival, which opens today at the Seattle Convention Center. Home & Garden Seattle was among the select media to get a sneak preview of this year’s show before today’s opening.
Garden expert and author Marianne Binetti gave Home & Garden Seattle and other media a guided tour of the amazing display gardens at this year’s festival, created by some of the leading and most innovative landscape design professionals in the region. Themes ranged from backyard retreats and eco-friendly gardens, to fanciful landscapes such as “The Flavor of New Orleans” by Fancy Plants Gardens designed to bring a New Orleans feel to the Pacific Northwest. Other gardens ranged from "The Salish Retreat," a unique Pacific Northwest landscape designed by Method Landscapes recognizing the region's indigenous people featuring native plants and local historical totem poles, to “Worlds Within Worlds” by Emerald City Orchids featuring vibrant tropical plans and blooming orchids designed to capture the artistry of urban gardening.
The Northwest Flower & Garden Festival runs now through Sunday February 23. For more information, visit the show’s website at https://www.gardenshow.com/.
