Although fall is technically still a few days away, the fall Home Show season has officially kicked off in Washington State!
Starting the season was the Washington Home Show at the Seattle Center this past weekend. This annual event featured a variety of home improvement ideas, just in time for the holiday season and the colder months coming up. Some of our favorites at the show included ColorPsych, a color consulting and color psychology firm that helps you pick the best colors for your home; Vermont Timber Frames which has a unique twist to how it approaches timber frame construction; and Keystone Kitchens, a Woodinville, Wash. based-full service kitchen and bath remodeler which offers its own brand of custom cabinets, cabinet refacing, countertops, tiling and lighting.
Coming up in October is a Snohomish county favorite of ours, the Washington State Evergreen Fall Home Show. Set for October 18-20 at the Monroe Fairgrounds, this lively event features the latest in local home products and design, with an emphasis on Snohomish county and beyond. The Washington State Evergreen Fall Home Show offers a full seminar schedule on a variety of home improvement topics. As well, they publish their program online with a full directory of exhibitors, so you can plan ahead and research who you might want to visit during the show. This year’s program will be available approximately two weeks before the show.
As these shows illustrate, it is never too soon to gather your ideas for fall home improvement!
And make sure to keep an eye on our website for an up-to-date list of all the upcoming events related to the home and garden.
