A Tree’s Eye View - Pruning a Seattle Heritage Tree

Home & Garden Seattle recently wrote about “Pruning Seattle’s Heritage Trees,” which included coverage of the recent pruning of a City of Seattle Giant Sequoia Heritage Tree.  We have learned from the tree service provider, Grun Tree Care of West Seattle, that one of the arborists involved in pruning this massive tree (which stands more than 120 feet tall and measures more than 30 feet in circumference) shot live video from a camera attached to his helmet, which he posted on his own YouTube channel.

It is an amazing “tree’s eye” view of what goes into pruning such a massive tree, and offers visually stunning as well as informative insight on trees, all taken from a vantage few of us ever get to experience!
